WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC ENGLISH LANGUAGE TUTORS TO JOIN OUR SUMMER TEAM IN JULY 2022

Job Role; Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to international junior learners up to 20 hours

per week Mon-Fri at our Newtown campus in Waterford.

Building rapport and creating a fun and effective learning environment for learners.

Following the syllabus and assessment framework and supporting learners in completing collaborative projects.

Working with the team to ensure that all participants enjoy their time in Waterford.

Keeping records and providing end of course feedback.

Regularly communicating with the academic team and pro-actively seeking supports and/or resources when needed.

Note that all WELC staff are Garda Vetted by the school prior to starting work.

Required:

EFL Teaching qualification and experience or a state qualified teacher with ELE SQT Cert.

Strong communication/organisational skills, cultural awareness and classroom management skills

Experience in and enthusiasm for teaching junior learners.

Desirable:

Experience working with international junior learners.

Familiarity with communicative teaching model and Microsoft Office.
